Around 430 ORS transmitter sites for reliable broadcasting distribution
ORS stands for radio broadcasting in Austria. It includes analogue FM radio, digital radio (DAB+) with crystal-clear reception as well as digital terrestrial TV. With the nationwide ORS transmitter network including about 430 transmitter sites, ORS provides almost all Austrian households from Kahlenberg in Vienna to Pfänder in Bregenz with broadcasting of the highest quality.
ORS also makes its highly developed network infrastructure available for services provided by mobile network operators, radio service providers and blue-light organisations by means of co-location.

Offer for mobile radio operators and blue-light services
ORS makes its Austria-wide network infrastructure available for services provided by mobile operators, radio service providers and blue-light organisations. In addition to the provision of transmission mast areas, the co-location offer of ORS also includes planning and support services for the preparation of necessary submission documents.
The co-location offer of ORS includes
- Leasing of third parties at the broadcasting locations
- Provision of technical infrastructure
- Directional radio subletting
- Design and construction of building facilities
- Support in the preparation of official submission plans

simpliTV
State-of-the-art digital terrestrial TV
With the implementation of the DVB-T2 transmission standard via the nationwide ORS transmitter network, ORS has established digital terrestrial television under the simpliTV brand and further developed it as an attractively priced and uncomplicated television platform.
In addition to easy access to terrestrial television, simpliTV also enables TV use via SAT or streaming.
