ORS service for broadcasters & cable providers
Television via cable is very popular in Austria. More than 1 million Austrians use this reception channel. In cooperation with ORF, ORS provides all ORF programmes in SD and HD quality as well as private TV and radio programmes nationwide via six cable multiplexes.
ORS offers broadcasters the opportunity to feed their programmes into the nationwide ORS multiplex. In this way, they guarantee cable TV households programme reception in perfect HD quality.
Our services for programme organisers
ORS offers all the necessary services from a single source. As a customer, you only have to supply a signal - ORS distributes it in the best quality throughout Austria.
Cable operators can tap the cable MUX from the nine ORF regional studios and feed it into their cable network in the highest quality. ORS also provides customer-specific options for encryption and signal processing.
