Radio transmission via VHF
The tried and tested transmission for radio programmes is via VHF. With more than 30 years of experience in terrestrial broadcasting technology, ORS guarantees coverage with analogue VHF radio - Austria-wide, around the clock.
Radio transmission via DAB+
ORS is responsible for the Austria-wide expansion and distribution of digital radio programmes. It operates two nationwide and five regional DAB+ multiplexes that broadcast more than 40 digital radio programmes. With a high-quality DAB+ network, ORS reaches around 84 per cent of the Austrian population both nationally and regionally.

ORS' know-how in the field of content via IP also meets customer demand for radio streaming in the best possible way. ORS was thus able to successfully implement the radio streaming of the ORF radio library.
